The Responsible Christian (2 ECTS)

Description

The Responsible Christian: A Study in Christian Stewardship is a study of what the Bible says about stewardship—the role of God as owner and people as stewards. It will explain how Christians should exercise their responsibility for faithful management of the various properties and resources with which God has entrusted them. In addition, it will deal with our relationships to our homes, churches, and communities in the light of our role as stewards.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to: 1. Describe God’s role and your role in relation to stewardship. 2. Explain what you are responsible for managing as a steward. 3. List ways in which you can fulfill your responsibilities as a steward. 4. Appreciate the need to dedicate yourself and your possessions to God and to develop your abilities for use in His service.
